Artist Statement

Sari Davidson is an artist based in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Her work focuses on imagery from nature in an attempt to illuminate the depth, beauty, and serenity found in the natural world. Many of her pieces are crafted using carefully cut stencils, painted with watercolor, and printed with watercolor or Akua ink backgrounds. Her use of stencils helps to define the spatial relationship and edges of objects in both the foreground and the background.
